Hey, all, Sparky Baxter here usurping Donna’s latest blog post for an important inquiry (if you’d like to read what she wrote to co-incide with the comic page above, just look below, or go HERE).
So it’s been a few weeks, and you’ve all submitted to the POLL below about what you thought of this brand-spanking new site. Some loved it, some thought it was okay, one somebody thought it needed a fair shake of changes, so….what would you suggest?
Now that a little time has gone by, what do you say should be added? What taken away? What changed? Comment to this post and tell me! Then I’ll get right to work on making those changes happen. I’m already aware that a new and better-looking forum is needed, one that’s more user friendly and not so intimidating in using.
So NEW FORUM: Check. I’m currently thinking a bbPress forum (for anyone in the know). If you’ve got other forum platform suggestions, please give!
And what else? –Lieutenant Sparky Baxter

So…. you really savvy web merchants out there — tell my First Officer how to get some cash flowing on this site. Yes, I love my art, and YES, I respect all my readers — but arts and media are the world’s biggest industry, and it’s about time we stop thinking like a bunch of editor-stabled, closeted sci-fi/fantasy writers (you KNOW you are!) and seize not only the means of production, but the new numbers that will be the new currency. Let’s face it, since the EM (what artists mean by “What economic meltdown?”), currency is evolving into something else entirely; the proof is the wall street grab: every time a system is collapsing, it raises its prices to loot the ship before it goes down. If Sparky can prove his site code makes money, he’ll be able to SELL it! Big time!
I will show it to my son, who is majoring in Computer Science, with website design as one of his specialties. He understands the subject, and could offer some constructive criticism. I’m just an old lady who enjoys what’s out there without understanding how it all works– despite the young man’s best efforts to educate me! He’ll take a look tomorrow, okay?
My son says “Needs work.” He didn’t have time to do a real analysis tonight– he got home a little late after a long day. However, sometime in the next few days, he will, and come through with some specific suggestions.
